Job Description:
Looking for a candidate to develop lesson plans and themes in line with curriculum objectives specific for teaching Physical Education at Elementary grade levels. Instruct through lectures, discussions, and demonstrations. Use computers, audiovisual aids, and other equipment and materials to supplement presentations. Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet the varying needs and interests of students. Facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with students and organizing learning resources and the classroom environment.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor Degree in Physical Education or Sports Sciences from a recognized University (Not online)
TEACHING QUALIFICATION FROM ONE OF THE FOLLOWING COUNTRIES: UK, US, CA, AU, NZ (due to Visa restrictions)
Must be fluent English speaker or near
Must have excellent classroom management skills and able to deal effectively with student behaviour issues
Experience Required:
Minimum 1 year PE teaching experience at Elementary grade levels
Culturally sensitive, dependable, flexible and able to work in a continuously changing environment
CONTRACT DETAILS:
Start Date: Immediately
Location: Qatar (Doha)
Working Hours: 7:30 am - 3:30 pm (approx) Sunday to Thursday
Monthly Salary Range: TAX FREE ranging from 775 KD to 1,015 KD depending on qualifications & experience
Housing: Furnished accommodation
Health Insurance Coverage: Medical insurance for employee and two dependents
Annual Air Tickets: Annual air tickets for employee and two dependents
Leave: Approximately 2 months summer holidays, plus national holidays and term breaks
Dependent School Fees: 50% discount on dependent school fees for up to three children
Visa and Medical Check Fees: Fees will be paid for employee only. Employee is responsible for fees for dependents.
End of Service Benefit: 1 month salary will be given upon completion of one academic school year
Contract Period: 1 Year contract - renewable
Paperwork Requirements: Notarized and Attested academic degrees, teaching certificates, transcripts, marriage and dependent birth certificates. You will be advised of school requirements
